GoodNewsMalawi.com is run by Stephen and Gail Harper for the promotion of the prayerful interest of God’s people in His work in Malawi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2003 Stephen and Gail were commended to\u00a0the grace of God for\u00a0full time Christian service by the assembly of Christians at Ebenezer Gospel Hall, Bangor, Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From August 2003 until June 2011 they made their home in the Zomba area of Malawi, and over the years were engaged in a variety of ministries in the spread of the Gospel. Initially their work was mainly rural, covering a radius of approximately 100Km from their Zomba base, but in later years they were involved in setting up and running a Bookstore ministry located in the city itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2011 their changing family situation\u00a0necessitated\u00a0relocation to N. Ireland, however they still maintain a very active interest in Malawi. Stephen typically visits the country 4 or 5 times each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By 2018 it became clear that the work had outgrown one missionary couple and Southern Africa Literature Trust (SALT) was created. The input of ideas and independent scrutiny has laid a solid basis for further expansion of the Gospel literature publication and distribution work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When not in Malawi Stephen is involved in preaching the Gospel, Gospel literature work and Bible teaching in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
