Goodson Chintanda, including Bro. Goodson himself as he and his family have been living under plastic sheeting since his own home collapsed. This is a remote area on a hillside overlooking the Lirangwe valley and getting buildings materials there is difficult and costly. In order to minimise transport costs we pre-purchased many of the bulkier items necessary, and hired a truck to take this to Goodson&#8217;s home in a single trip.<\/p>\n<p>The shopping list included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>45 Bags of Cement<\/li>\n<li>15 Door Frames<\/li>\n<li>15 Window Frames<\/li>\n<li>6 Rolls of DPC<\/li>\n<li>30 Rolls of &#8220;Brick Force&#8221; wire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"su-gmap su-u-responsive-media-yes\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?q=-15.534370%2C%2035.080757&amp;output=embed\" title=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are helping 5 or 6 vulnerable families in the villages near Bro.
