Vulnerable People

Malawian ChildrenAccording to the latest date from the World Bank1 72% of the population of Malawi are living on an average daily income of US$1.25 or less. It goes without saying that serious hardship abounds.

The elderly, widows and chronically ill, particularly those suffering from HIV/AIDS (around 1,500,000 adults) are particularly vulnerable as they are often unable to work.

As we are able, we try to assist a small number of particularly needy individuals with a monthly distribution of maize, some food supplements, and a small amount of cash to assist with purchasing essential supplies. We are grateful for the goodness of the Lord’s people which enables us to continue meeting some of these particular needs.
